Abstract (en)

1. Vibratory bracing arrangement for drum washing machines having a horizontal axis of rotation, consisting of a washer unit (1) braced on a base plate (4) via at least two sprung legs (2) disposed one on each side of the vertical plane passing through the axis of rotation, the sprung legs being resiliently articulated on the base plate (4) at one end by means of a coaxial peg (22) while at the other end they are articulated on the washing unit by means of a coaxial peg (24) and via a resilient plug-in connection, for which purpose the peg (24) is pushed into and maintained in a vibratory and damping element (36) in which it is a frictional press fit, the said vibratory and damping element (36) being disposed in a carrying sleeve (30) of identical cross-section and mounted on the washing unit, characterised in that the relevant sprung leg (2, 2') also has at its bottom end a coaxially disposed peg (22) which is inserted with a frictional press fit into a vibratory and damping element (35) in which it is held fast, the said vibratory and damping element (35) being disposed in a carrier sleeve (26) of identical cross-section which is mounted on the base plate (4) and in that the relevant sprung leg (2) has a thrust bearing (20, 23) which bears on the relevant vibratory and damping element (35, 36) and in that the respective vibratory and damping element (35, 36) is fixed in the associated carrier sleeve in the direction of the central longitudinal axis (21) of the relevant sprung leg (2).
