A solenoid valve (18) is arranged in the water supply line (22, 24). The solenoid valve (18) is actuated by a control device (10). The control device (10) is connected to the mains voltage, and the appliance (26) to be monitored is itself connected to the control device (10). The current flowing to the appliance (26) via the control device (10) when the appliance is switched on activates the solenoid valve (18) at the same time. A moisture sensor (24) arranged on the bottom can break the actuating circuit of the solenoid valve (18) by means of its signal, so that the solenoid valve (18) assumes the closing position when leakage water appears.

Es wird eine Leckwassersicherung für wasserverbrauchende Geräte (26) angegeben, wobei in der Wasserzuleitung (22, 24) ein Magnetventil (18) angeordnet ist. Das Magnetventil (18) wird von einer Steuereinrichtung (10) betätigt. Die Steuereinrichtung (10) ist an die Netzspannung angeschlossen und das zu überwachende Gerät (26) ist seinerseits an die Steuereinrichtung (10) angeschlossen. Der beim Einschalten des Gerätes (26) zu diesem über die Steuereinrichtung (10) fließende Strom aktiviert zugleich das Magnetventil (18). Ein auf dem Boden angeordneter Feuchtefühler (34) kann mit seinem Signal den Betätigungskreis des Magnetventiles (18) auftrennen, so daß beim Auftreten von Leckwasser das Magnetventil (18) in die Schließstellung gelangt.
