[origin: EP0108716A2] The device serves in particular for spray-coating plane and corrugated sheets or webs. It has at least one spray nozzle (8) which is arranged above the sheet (1) and can be moved backwards and forwards during the sheet transport transversely to the direction of transport. The spray nozzle (8) is movably arranged on a bar (5), the bar being swivellable horizontally on the transverse axis (11) about a swivel angle ( alpha ). The swivel angle ( alpha ), the transport speed (vt) of the body (1) and the travelling speed (vs) of the spray nozzle (8) are matched to one another in such a way that the paint webs (17) produced on the sheet (1) are essentially parallel to one another. By means of the device, a very homogenous paint application is possible, it being also possible to achieve paint savings in comparison with conventional methods. <IMAGE>
