A hollow-chamber box panel comprising relatively parallel and spaced outer cover plates and respectively equidistant, relatively parallel webs mutually connecting the cover plates, characterised in that the interior side of at least one cover plate (2) has an arcuate configuration in the region between the webs (4), such that a circle (6) which could be inscribed in the cross section of the region where the webs join this cover plate touching tangentially the outside as well as the inside of the cover plate (2) has a radius which corresponds to approximately 1 to 4 times the thickness of the web (4).
