Abstract (en)
[origin: WO8304057A1] A non-flammable fabric having a face of pile fabric comprising a blend of wool and permanently flame retarded rayon, and a backing of permanently flame retarded rayon and a high strength material having good heat resistant and flame retardant qualities. The fabric preferably includes a latex type back coating for providing stability to the fabric and for locking the pile in place. The method for manufacturing the fabric is also disclosed.

Un tissu non-inflammable possède une face de tissu à poils comprenant un mélange de laine et de rayonne ignifugée en permanence, et une toile de fond en rayonne ignifugée en permanence et d'un matériau de haute résistance ayant de bonnes caractéristiques ignifuges et de résistance à la chaleur. Le tissu comprend de préférence une couche de renforcement du type latex pour donner une stabilité au tissu et assujettir le poil. Le procédé de fabrication du tissu est également décrit.
