[origin: CA1197586A] A spring loaded connector is provided for electrical conductors. The connector comprises a contact spring and an approximately rotationally symmetrical activating element mounted rotatably between the contact spring and an abutment piece. The contact spring is recessed below a contact web located on its free end. A conductor pick-up is provided laterally in the actuating element and is arranged along the longitudinal axis thereof. The pick-up is cut from a transverse slot for the accommodation of the contact web.
