A method for producing a package containing at least one row of disk-shaped objects (G), especially biscuits, adjoining each other on their flat sides, according to which method the objects (G) counted and grouped for packaging are raised parallel to their flat sides into an input station (A), pushed together with a portion of a wrapping sheet (33) at right angles to their flat sides through upper and lower folding members (36, 37) into an intermediate station (B), tilted upwards in the intermediate station (B), where a longitudinal fin seam is sealed, while a feed member (41) in the meantime returns to its original position, the wrapped objects (G) then being tilted back and pushed out of the intermediate station (B) by the feed member (41) and wedge folds then being formed by folding members (41c, 48) of the feed member (41) and an output station (C), whereafter the two transverse fin seams are sealed, such that the roots of all the seams lie in a common plane.
