1. Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Beschichten von über eine Stützwalze (2) laufenden Materialbahnen (1) mit regelbarer Auftragsstärke wird das Beschichtungsmedium mit Hilfe einer sich über die Breite der Materialbahn (1) erstreckenden Schlitzdüse (21) mit in der Breite einstellbarem Vordosierspalt (23), an den eine Dosierlippe und eine Rücklauflippe (24) derart angeschlossen sind, daß eine sich über die Breite der Materialbahn erstreckende Dosierkammer (25) gebildet ist, auf die Materialbahn aufgebracht. Um eine feinfühlige Änderung des Auftragsgewichts bei höchster Qualität der Beschichtung mit einfachen Mitteln zu ermöglichen, ist die Dosierlippe mit einer Rakelleiste (6) ausgebildet, die an wenigstens einer ablaufseitigen ebenen Gleitfläche (4) des die Dosierlippe bildenden Rakelbetts (3) geführt, bildet die Stirnfläche (7) der Rakelleiste (6) mit der Bahn einen sich verengenden Keilspalt, dessen Geometrie unabhängig vom Anpreßdruck ist, bildet die Ablaufkante der Stirnfläche (7) eine geradlinige und scharfkantige Abrißkante (8), ist die Rakelleiste (6) im Bereich der Stirnfläche (7) und Abrißkante (8) beigeweich, weist die Stirnfläche (7) eine große Verschleißfestigkeit auf und wird ein Anpreßdruck der Rakelleiste (6) gegen die Bahn (1) durch ein elastisches Druckmittel (9) zwischen Rakelleiste und Rakelbett aufgebracht.
