Abstract (en)
In the impeller (4), which is provided with radially extending blades (7) projecting from a body (6) in the direction opposed to the pump medium, a single blade (7') projects to a greater degree from said body (6) than the remaining blades (7). The free edges (7a) of these remaining blades (7) lie in a plane (E) which is at right angles to the impeller axis (4a). The raised blade (7') has a section (7b) which projects beyond this plane (E). This projecting blade section (7b) causes the surface of the medium to break up and become turbulent even in the case of pump media of high consistency. It is therefore also possible to convey media of high consistency, e.g. cement slurries and flowing mortars having a high sand content, which cannot be conveyed or can be conveyed only with great difficulty using conventional vortex pumps. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei dem mit radial verlaufenden Schaufeln (7), die von einem Grundkörper (6) in Richtung gegen das Fördermedium hin abstehen, versehenen Laufrad (4) steht eine einzige Schaufel (7') um ein grösseres Mass von diesem Grundkörper (6) weg als die übrigen Schaufeln (7). Die freien Kanten (7a) dieser übrigen Schaufeln (7) liegen in einer Ebene (E), die rechtwinklig zur Laufradachse (4a) steht. Die erhöhte Schaufel (7') weist nun einen Abschnitt (7b) auf, der über diese Ebene (E) vorsteht. Dieser überstehende Schaufelabschnitt (7b) bewirkt nun ein Aufreissen und Verwirbeln der Mediumsoberfläche auch bei Fördermedien hoher Konsistenz. Es ist demzufolge auch möglich, Medien mit einer hohen Konsistenz, z.B. Zementsuspensionen und Fliessmörtel mit hohem Sandgehalt, zu fördern, die mit den herkömmlichen Freistrompumpen nicht oder nur sehr schwer gefördert werden können.
