Abstract (en)
Hitherto the winch dyeing of fine cotton jersey in tubular form with azoic dyes was virtually impossible. The reason was thought to lie in physical as well as chemical differences at the dyestuff coupling stage, which manifest themselves in the form of unlevelness in the dyed material. By pretreating the tubular material with cationic amine-formaldehyde condensation products in conjunction with a wetting agent prior to dyeing it is possible to prevent adverse effects on the appearance occurring in the course of the development of the dyes. At the same time the air stability of the initial impregnation is improved.

Das Färben von feinen Baumwolltrikotagen in Schlauchform auf der Haspelkufe mit Azo-Entwicklungsfarbstoffen war bis jetzt kaum möglich. Als Ursache hierfür wurden physikalische wie auch chemische Vorgänge während der Farbstoffkupplung angesehen, welche in Form von Unegalitäten auf der gefärbten Ware in Erscheinung treten. Durch eine Vorbehandlung des Schlauchguts vor dem Färben mit kationischen Amin-Formaldehyd-Kondensationsprodukten in Verbindung mit einem Netzmittel gelingt es erfindungsgemäß, das Auftreten der negativen Einflüsse auf das Warenbild im Verlauf der Entwicklung der Farbstoffe zu verhindern. Geichzeitig wird verbesserte Luftbeständigkeit der Grundierung erhalten.
