Abstract (en)
In this sitting bath for old, fragile or otherwise physically disabled people, one of the sidewalls of the bath can be opened and this openable sidewall (1<">) can be moved virtually completely out of the sidewall opening completely exposing the seat part (1'). In order to ensure that the person bathing only has to wait in the bath before or after bathing for a short time until it has been filled or emptied, there is provided below the bath (1) a collection trough (3) which accommodates the total volume of bath water and is connected to the bath by an oversized drainage pipe (14) and the preferably likewise oversized bathwater feedpipe (4) is connected to a storage container (2) which accommodates the total volume of bathwater. Furthermore, for the purpose of providing a sitting bath unit with small space requirement and simple seals in respect of the openable sidewall (1<">), the latter can be moved downwards below the bottom (20) of the bath. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei dieser Sitzbadewanneneinheit für alte, gebrechliche oder sonstig körperbehinderte Personen ist eine der Badewannenseitenwände öffenbar, wobei diese öffenbare Seitenwand (1") unter vollständiger Freigabe des Sitzteiles (1') im wesentlichen zur Gänze aus der Seitenwandöffnung wegbewegbar ist. Um zu erreichen, daß der Badende vor bzw. nach dem Bad nur kurz in der Wanne warten muß, bis sie gefüllt bzw. entleert ist, ist unterhalb der Badewanne (1) eine mit ihr durch ein überdimensioniertes Abflußrohr (14) verbundene, die gesamte Badewassermenge aufnehmende Auffangwanne (3) vorgesehen und die vorzugsweise ebenfalls überdimensionierte Badewasserzuflußleitung (4) mit einem die gesamte Badewassermenge aufnehmenden Speicherbehälter (2) verbunden. Weiters ist zwecks Schaffung einer Sitzbadewanneneinheit mit geringem Platzbedarf und einfachen Dichtungen bezüglich der öffenbaren Seitenwand (1") letztere nach unten unter den Wannenboden (20) bewegbar.
