1. A savings device adapted to hold captive at least one coin of a specific thickness and diameter, consisting of a support (1) comprising at least one plane face having at least one pocket (2, 3, 4) of a depth at least equal to the thickness of the coin, at least one face of which is open at one face of the support and of which the lateral wall (5) surrounding the coin comprises at least one retaining element (6, 7, 8, 9) of which at least the one situated at the edge of an open face is adapted, by resilient deformation, to permit the manual insertion of the coin in the pocket and of which the other, situated at the other side, constitutes a retaining stop, characterized in that the coin retaining element situated on the edge of an open face of the pocket consists of a mounting catch (6, 8) with unidirectional flexibility orientated towards the interior of the pocket, this mounting catch being adapted to ensure the mounting of the coin during its forced manual insertion in the pocket and to oppose its subsequent extraction.

Le dispositif est constitué par un support plan (1) présentant sur ses deux faces une pluralité d'alvéoles (2, 3, 4) réparties à la manière d'une rosace et destinées à maintenir prisonnières une pluralité de pièces de monnaie dont la totalité forme un chiffre rond. Chaque alvéole présente un bord ouvert comportant un élément de retenue annulaire (6) destiné à assurer le sertissage d'une pièce de monnaie pendant son introduction manuelle à force. Le fond de l'alvéole est obturé par une paroi intégrée au support plan et formant butée. Ce dispositif est conçu pour assurer à la fois la visibilité des pièces de monnaie emprisonnées, l'inviolabilité de leur emprisonnement et pour faciliter leur comptage. Dans une variante le support plan est constitué de plusieurs éléments plans articulés entre eux susceptibles de former un prisme par pliage.
