[origin: CA1183583A] Socket and Base for Picture Tubes By matching both the air and creepage paths of the socket and the base a shorter socket is obtainable. The socket including its terminals does not project in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the picture tube over the base. In this way it is accomplished that the overall length required for mounting the picture tube inside the equipment, is reduced. (Fig.2)
Abstract (de)
Durch Angleichung der Luft- und Kriechstrecken (14, 15) von Fassung (9) und Sockel (5) entsteht eine kürzere Fassung (9). Die Fassung (9) einschließlich ihrer Anschlüsse (3) ragt in Richtung der Bildröhrenlängsachse nicht über den Sockel (5) hinaus. Damit ist erreicht, daß die für den Einbau der Bildröhre ins Gerät benötigte Gesamtlänge verringert wird.
