Abstract (en)
The very economical padding processes for applying treatment liquids as have become largely established for flat-lying material are also of interest for the dyeing and finishing of tubular textile material. However, before this technology can be used in the latter case it is necessary to take account of the fact that, when circular-knit material is impregnated on a pad-mangle, crease marks are produced on both sides of the tube, which results for example in undesirable hue differences. The apparatus consists essentially of two spreader elements A and B which are at an angle of from 10 to 90 DEG relative to each other and which are arranged immediately downstream of the point of exit of the tube from the pair of rolls of the pad-mangle, and act on the running textile material from the inside towards the outside. It makes it possible to achieve safe displacement of the creases. The liquor on the textile material is thus given a chance to balance out the undesirable crease marks by migration. <IMAGE>

Die sehr wirtschaftlichen Klotz-Verfahren zum Aufbringen von flüssigen Behandlungsmitteln, welche sich für flachliegendes Material weitgehend durchgesetzt haben, sind auch für das Färben und Ausrüsten von schlauchförmigem Textilgut interessant. Der Anwendung dieser Technologie steht im letzteren Falle indessen der Befund entgegen, daß beim Imprägnieren von Rundstuhlware auf dem Foulard an den beiden Seiten des Schlauches eine Markierung der Quetschkanten auftritt, was beispielsweise zu unerwünschten Farbtonunterschieden Anlaß gibt. Durch die gemäß unten angegebener Zeichnung gezeigte erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung, bestehend im wesentlichen aus zwei um einen Winkel von 10 bis 90° gegeneinander verdrehten Breithalteelementen A und B, welche in Fortbewegungsrichtung kurz hinter dem Austritt des Warenschlauches aus dem Walzenpaar des Foulards angeordnet und von innen nach außen auf das laufende Textilgut wirksam sind, gelingt es nunmehr, ein sicheres Verlegen der Quetschkanten mechanisch zu bewerkstelligen. Der Flotte auf dem Textilgut wird somit die Möglichkeit eingeräumt, durch Migration die unerwünschte Kantenmarkierung auszugleichen.
