[origin: WO8304192A1] A compaction device for compactible waste materials comprising a hopper (11) for receiving waste materials from a chute (10), an oscillatable ram (3) which in a retracted position forms a wall of said hopper (11) to guide waste material to the interior of a collection bin (13). The oscillatable ram (3) in the extended position compacts waste material at one end of said compaction bin (13) in a downward and rearward direction. The oscillatable ram (3) comprises a plate (4) pivotable about a transverse axis and includes a rearwardly extending hood (6, 7) to close said hopper (11) when said ram (3) is in an extended position.

Dispositif de compactage pour des déchets pouvant être compactés, comprenant une trémie (11) recevant les déchets d'une chute (10), un bélier oscillant (3) qui forme en position rétractée une paroi de la trémie (11) de manière à guider les déchets vers l'intérieur d'un récipient collecteur (13). Le bélier oscillant (3) dans sa position étendue compacte les déchets à une extrémité du récipient de compactage (13) dans un sens allant vers le bas et vers l'arrière. Le bélier oscillant (3) comprend une plaque (4) pivotant autour d'un axe transversal et comprend un capot s'étendant vers l'arrière (6, 7) pour fermer la trémie (11) lorsque le bélier (3) se trouve dans une position étendue.
