Abstract (en)

[origin: WO8304248A1] The artificial fertilizer stimulates the supply of phosphorus and potassium to the plant. The artificial fertilizer, according to the invention, is characterized by a certain ratio of silicon derivated compounds; it comprises particularly a ratio from 2 to 10 % by weight, based on SiO2?. The preferred compound based on silicon derivatives forming part of the composition of the artificial fertilizer according to the invention is siliceous earth. Said silicon derivative compound ratio in the artificial fertilizer in question provides for the supply to the plant of all the phosphorous contained in the phosphorated compounds of the fertilizer in question: as a fact, it is not the phosphorus-containing ions but the silicon derivative ions which are bound with the earth (and it is precisely this bond with the earth which was heretofore the main cause of the lack of supply of phosphorus-containing compounds to the plant). The invention further relates to the method for manufacturing such artificial fertilizer; it also encompasses the use of silicon derivative compounds as fertilizer adjuvants stimulating the supply of phosphorus and potassium to the plant.
