[origin: US4636363A] Apparatus for the conditioning of radioactive wastes capable of ultimate storage, using a multicomponent binding agent, with a continuous-flow mixer, a filling station for the ultimate storage barrels, a receiver tank for liquid waste materials, a silo for a component of the binding agent, and several conveyors. A premixer for the one binding agent component and for flowable waste materials is provided. The premixer is connected via throughput measuring devices to the silo and to a container for flowable wastes. The premixer is connected via a dosing conveyor device to one end of the continuous-flow mixer. Thereafter, the receiver tank is connected to the continuous-flow mixer. A discharge conveyor device which feeds the ultimate storage barrels is mounted at the other end of the continuous-flow mixer.

Zum endlagerfähigen Konditionieren von unterschiedlichen radioaktiven Abfällen verwendet man einen Durchlaufmischer (13), der kontinuierlich betrieben wird und aus einem Vormischer (33) mit Zement und gegebenenfalls rieselfähigen trockenen Abfällen und aus einem Vorlagebehälter (1), in dem die flüssigen Abfälle chemisch eingestellt werden, beschickt wird. Das Abfüllen in Endlagergebinde (62) erfolgt mit einer Fülleitung (24), die ein haubenförmiges Endstück (61) zum Aufsetzen auf die Endlagergebinde (25) und ein Tauschrohr (82) aufweist, um größere Abfallstücke steigend vergießen zu können.
