[origin: DE3223187A1] The horseshoe is comprised of a plastic element having a ground bearing part (10) and a body (11) adapted to the shape of the hoof. The ground bearing part has in plane the shape of a conventional horseshoe and, in cross-section, a rectangular shape. The body holes are provided with slots to secure by means of wedges the horseshoe to the hoof. As an alternative, the body walls may be adapted to be glued to the hoof. The ground bearing part may be provided with a conventional horseshoe or with a T cross-section horseshoe.

Le fer à cheval est constitué d'un élément en matière plastique présentant une partie d'appui sur le sol (10) et un corps (11) adapté à la forme du sabot. La partie d'appui sur le sol a en plan la forme d'un fer à cheval conventionnel et présente en section droite une forme rectangulaire. Les parois du corps sont pourvues de fentes pour permettre au moyen de coins la fixation du fer sur le sabot. En variante, les parois du corps peuvent être adaptées pour être collées sur le sabot. La partie d'appui sur le sol peut être pourvue d'un fer conventionnel ou d'un fer à section droite en T.
