Cooking stove for solid fuels, with a box-like fuel chamber (11), an exhaust gas aperture (14) in the covering area of the fuel chamber, a heating boiler surrounding the fuel chamber and comprising heating pockets (13, 13a), a roasting oven box (16) arranged with clearance next to the fuel chamber and with two exhaust gas ducts leading from the exhaust gas aperture (14) of the heating chamber to an exhaust stack (22) which can be connected to a flue, wherein the first exhaust gas duct first of all leads substantially horizontally over the roasting oven box (16), then between a side wall (10b) of the housing (10) and a side wall of the roasting oven box (16) downwards and under the roasting oven box, and finally upwards again to the exhaust stack (22), whilst the second exhaust gas duct first of all leads substantially vertically between the roasting oven box (16) and the heat pocket (13a) facing this, downwards and underneath the roasting oven box and from there, united with the first exhaust gas duct, upwards to the exhaust stack (22), characterised in that the space between the roasting oven box (16) and the housing side wall (10b) distant from the fuel chamber (11) is divided by a vertical dividing wall (21) into an exhaust gas-side exhaust gas collecting chamber (19a) and a drop flue-exhaust gas chamber (19b) representing part of the first exhaust gas duct, whereby the accesses to these two exhaust gas chambers (19a, 19b) located above the roasting oven box (16) can be separately closed by access flaps (24, 25) which can be actuated from the outside, in that on the dividing wall (21) there is fitted an exhaust gasguide tongue (27) projecting into the space (20) under the roasting oven box (16) and substantially parallel to the housing rear wall (10c), and in that at least the heating pocket (13a) adjacent to the second exhaust gas duct is of a material of great heat conductivity which is coated with a material of high corrosion-resistance.
