[origin: US4494484A] The heat exchanger is constructed with a single pressure vessel to contain the ducts for the hot gas flow and the heating surfaces for the secondary medium. The heat exchanger is provided with a central duct for the hot process gas and two parallel branch ducts through which sub-flows of the process gas pass. A throttle member is provided in at least one of the branch ducts in order to throttle the flow of hot gas therethrough. Additional hot gas can be bypassed from the duct section into the exhaust gas from the pressure vessel.

Das Wärmeübertragersystem weist einen Kanalabschnitt (30) auf, der sich in zwei parallele Zweigkanäle (32,34) gabelt, die in einen gemeinsamen Mischraum münden. Im Kanalabschnitt (30) und im Zweigkanal (32) ist eine gemeinsame Verdampferheizfläche (36) untergebracht. Im anderen Zweigkanal (34) ist eine Wärmeübertragerfläche in Form einer Helissenheizfläche (62) angeordnet, in der der in der Verdampferheizfläche erzeugte Dampf überhitzt wird. Der Zweigkanal (32) weist ein verstellbares Drosselorgan (25) auf und alle Heizflächen (36, 62) sind in einem einzigen, im wesentlichen zylindrischen Druckgefäss (1) untergebracht. Hierdurch wird ein Wärmeübertragersystem geschaffen, das einfach in seinem Aufbau ist und bei dem im Falle einer Verschmutzung der Heizflächen (36, 62) sich mindestens die Verdampferheizflache (36) relativ gut ausbauen und reinigen lässt; die Ueberhitzerheizfläche (62) lässt sich innerhalb des Druckgefässes (1) reinigen.
