Abstract (en)

In a clock with an alarm mechanism and with a striking mechanism, the alarm mechanism or the alarm device and the striking mechanism or the striking device are blocked or locked relative to each other, and the lock can be switched so that one or the other device is released, as desired, and can be actuated at the respectively desired times. In this arrangement, either a mechanical or an electrical release is possible, and the switching can be performed by hand or by the action of light or by the clock mechanism itself, for example via cams or the like, and finally it can also be performed via pre-programmed switching circuits or microprocessors. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Bei einer Uhr mit Weckwerk und mit Schlagwerk sind das Weckwerk bzw. die Weckeinrichtung und das Schlagwerk bzw. die Schlageinrichtung gegeneinander gesperrt oder verriegelt und die Sperre ist so umschaltbar, daß wahlweise die eine oder die andere Einrichtung freigegeben und zu jeweils gewünschten Zeitpunkten betätigbar ist. Dabei ist eine mechanische oder auch eine elektrische Lösung möglich und die Umschaltung kann von Hand oder auch durch Lichteinwirkung oder von dem Uhrwerk selbst beispielsweise über Nocken od. dgl. gesteuert sowie schließlich auch über vorprogrammierte Schaltkreise oder Mikroprozessoren durchgeführt werden.
