In the width of the pelvis measurement (BA) plus the extra widths required for stitching and buttoning is traced the upper part of the jacket by placing the upper points (A,B) of the armhole contour (4) perpendicular to the pelvis line (BA), and the armhole is extended by a slot (C G D) which is held open with the aid of an attached piece (5) whose upper edge forms the missing part of the armhole contour (4) and which re-establishes the usual chest measurement, half of the jacket thus being produced in a single piece with a marked saving of fabric and stitching length. <IMAGE>

Procédé de tracé, de coupe et de confection, de vêtements et de manches pour la partie supérieure du corps et vêtements réalisés par ce procédé. Dans la largeur de la mesure de bassin (BA) accrue des surlargeurs nécessaires de piqûre et de boutonnage, on trace la partie supérieure de la veste en plaçant sur une perpendiculaire à la ligne de bassin (BA) les points supérieurs (A,B) du contour d'emmanchure (4) et on prolonge celle-ci par une fente ( C G D) que l'on maintient ouvert à l'aide d'une pièce rapportée (5) dont le bord supérieur reconstitue la partie manquante du contour d'emmanchure (4) et qui redonne à la mesure de poitrine sa dimension habituelle, ce qui fait que la moitié de la veste est réalisée en une seule pièce avec une économie notable de tissu et de longueur de piqûres.
