[origin: WO8400194A1] An idle needle valve for a carburettor of an internal combustion engine having provision for controlling the position thereof with respect to the valve seat of the idle jet. The valve has a head stem element (5), a sleeve (2) and control means (6) for opening and closing the valve in response to selected engine operating conditions. The control means (6) may comprise vacuum responsive or electromagnetic means.

Un pointeau de ralenti pour un carburateur d'un moteur à combustion interne pouvant commander sa position en ce qui concerne le siège de vanne du gicleur de ralenti. La vanne comprend un élément tige (5) de tête, un manchon (2) et un mécanisme de commande (6) pour ouvrir et fermer la vanne répondant aux conditions choisies de fonctionnement du moteur. Le mécanisme de commande (6) peut comporter un organe électromagnétique ou sensible à la dépression.
