Dispositif d'évasement de tuyau du type utilisant une matrice d'évasement (11) comprenant des segments (11A et 11B) pouvant être insérés dans l'extrémité d'un tuyau (20) pour évaser le diamètre de l'extrémité du tuyau (20). Le dispositif se caractérise par l'insertion de la matrice d'évasement (11), qui possède une extrémité dirigée vers l'avant (18), pénétrant dans l'extrémité du tuyau (20), cette extrémité (18) étant située à l'endroit le plus intérieur de l'évasement requis, de manière à évaser l'extrémité orientée vers l'avant (18) de la matrice d'évasement (11) pour produire une arête circulaire (21) dans le tuyau (20) et à tirer ensuite la matrice d'évasement (11) vers l'extrémité du tuyau (20) pour évaser ce tuyau (20) sur la longueur requise.
