[origin: WO8400319A1] The hair cutting apparatus is provided with an interchangeable blade (33) arranged in a two part casing (1, 16). The blade is located between a row of stationary teeth (2) arranged at the edge of the lower portion (1) of the casing and a row of movable teeth (9) forward or backward with respect to the blade. An articulated support arm (20) carrying a shaving head (26) is secured to the edge of the casing (1, 16) opposite to the edge which carries the blade (33). In a non-operating position, said arm is located in a housing (31) provided in the lower portion (1) of the casing. It may be set in an operating position by pivoting outwardly. When operating the shaving head (26), the casing (1, 16) is used as a handle. Therefore, the apparatus has two functions: it may be used as a razor as well as a hair cutting apparatus.

L'appareil à couper les cheveux présente une lame échangeable (33) disposée dans un boîtier en deux parties (1, 16). Cette lame est placée entre une rangée de dents fixes (2) disposées au bord de la partie inférieure (1) du boîtier et une rangée de dents (9) mobiles en avant ou en arrière par rapport à la lame. Un bras de support articulé (20) portant une tête de rasage (26) est fixé au bord du boîtier (1, 16) opposé à celui qui porte la lame (33). En position de non-utilisation, ce bras est placé dans un logement (31) ménagé dans la partie inférieure (1) du boîtier. Il peut être mis en position d'utilisation par pivotement vers l'extérieur. Pendant l'utilisation de la tête de rasage (26), le boîtier (1, 16) sert de poignée. Ainsi l'appareil a deux fonctions: il peut servir comme rasoir ainsi qu'à couper les cheveux.
