In the device for tentering and guiding a continuous web, in particular a textile web, having a stationarily arranged guide body (1) running transversely to the feed direction of the web and comprising, at least in its central part, guide elements (20, 21, 49) situated next to one another and acting on the underside of the web (30), which elements are in each case oriented obliquely to the outside relative to the feed direction in two adjacent regions running transversely to the feed direction, so that the directions of the guide elements in the two adjoining regions diverge in the feed direction, it is proposed that, in order to obtain a simplified construction in which the guided webs are stressed as little as possible, that the position of the boundary surface between the adjoining regions can be displaced relative to the feed direction. <IMAGE>

Um bei einer Vorrichtung zum Breiten und Führen einer kontinuierlichen Warenbahn, insbesondere einer Textilbahn, mit einem quer zur Vorschubrichtung der Warenbahn verlaufenden, stationär angeordneten Führungskörper (1), der zumindest in seinem Mittelteil an der Unterseite der Warenbahn (30) angreifende, nebeneinanderliegende Führungselemente (20, 21, 49) aufweist, die in zwei quer zur Vorschubrichtung aneinanderangrenzenden Bereichen jeweils gegenüber der Vorschubrichtung schräg nach außen gerichtet sind, so daß die Richtungen der Fürungselemente in den beiden angrenzenden Bereichen in Vorschubrichtung divergieren, eine vereinfachte Konstruktion zu erreichen, bei welcher die geführten Warenbahnen möglichst wenig beansprucht werden, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Lage der Grenzfläche zwischen den angrenzenden Bereichen quer zur Vorschubrichtung verschiebbar ist.
