The plunger head of a piston press for dewatering a laundry batch is equipped with a flexible cushion (4) which is concave at the surface which faces the laundry batch and at the surface which glides along the wall of the pressure vessel. This ensures uniform dewatering of the laundry batch while avoiding excessive friction between the cushion and the wall of the vessel. <IMAGE>

Der Preßstempel einer Kolbenpresse zum Entwässern von Wäscheposten ist mit einem flexiblen Kissen (4) bestückt, dessen dem Wäscheposten zugewandte Oberfläche und an der Wandung des Druckbehälters gleitenden Oberfläche konkav ausgebildet ist. Dadurch wird eine gleichmäßige Entwässerung des Wäschepostens erreicht, ohne daß zu hohe Reibungskräfte des Kissens an der Behälterwand auftreten.
