Abstract (en)
Lamps 24 are enclosed in a housing having front wall 12 and back wall 14 consisting of translucent panels 34 mounted in metal frames. Each frame is hinged by its upper member 26 to the top wall 20 of the housing. Wall 20 has a shelf 36 on which a projecting rib 48 rests. A seal 44 is located between downwardly extending flanges 40 and 50. U-shaped hinge members 52 embrace the flanges 40 and 50 and are secured to the frame member 26 by bolts 60 engaging the rib 48. When bolts 60 are released the front wall can be assembled and disassembled from the casing but when they are tightened only a hinge action is possible.
