[origin: US4612551A] The present invention relates to an arrangement for the omnidirectional orientation of an antenna. The arrangement includes a housing mounted on a fixed mast so that it can rotate around the axis of the latter, and an antenna support mounted on the housing so that it can rotate around an axis perpendicular to the mast. Two adjustment assemblies including a toothed ring integral with one of the elements of the adjustment assemblies and a worm engaged on the toothed ring and mounted immovable in translation on another element of each adjustment assembly, allow the antenna to be adjusted finely in elevation and in the azimuth. The arrangement also includes locking means for locking each of the adjustment assemblies. In the event of the deterioration of the adjustment arrangements associated with the fixing arrangement, the effectiveness of the immobilization is not prejudiced.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'orientation omnidirectionnelle d'une antenne. Le dispositif comprend un carter (20) monté à rotation sur un mât fixe (10), autour de l'axe de celui-ci, et un support d'antenne (50) lui-même monté à rotation sur le carter (20), autour d'un axe perpendiculaire au mât (10). Deux ensembles de réglage (100A, 100B) comprenant une couronne dentée solidaire de l'un des éléments desdites articulations et une vis (150) en prise avec celle-ci, portée immobilisée en translation sur l'autre élément de chaque articulation, permettent un réglage fin en site et en azimut de l'antenne. Le dispositif comprend également des moyens de blocage aptes à verrouiller chacune des articulations. Les dispositifs de réglage accompagnant la fixation, ne remettent pas en cause l'efficacité de l'immobilisation dans le cas de leur détérioration.
