1. Underwater propeller drive with at least one screw propeller, the blade ends of which are one connected with the other by way of a peripheral ring which receives the rotor -excited by a permanent magnet- of an electrical drive motor, the stator of which is accommodated in the fixedly located part, wherein the gap between rotor and stator is flooded, characterized thereby, that the screw propeller with bearing and electrical drive is detachably installed in the end of a transverse channel portion (19), which is pushable as unit into a side wall opening (16) of a ship as far as the abutment (20) in the fixedly installed pipe tunnel (17), wherein the stator (12) is connected by way of a current cable (21) to a terminal box outside the water region.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Unterwasserpropellerantrieb mit permanent erregtem elektrischem Motor für Querstrahlruder oder Unterwasserpumpen. Um die Montage solcher Antriebe zu vereinfachen, wird der Schraubenpropeller (8) mit seiner Lagerung (3 - 6) in ein axial kurzes, an den Stirnflächen offenes Gehäuse (2) eingesetzt. Diese Baueinheit (1) kann in bestehende Rohrtunnel eingeschoben und in der Einbaulage befestigt werden. Der Stator (12) des Motors kann wahlweise außerhalb des Wasserbereiches an das speisende Netz oder an eine Kurzschlußschaltung angeschlossen werden.
