1. Foldable fastener for a bracelet with a stiff support (1) having longitudinal beams (2, 3) and comprising at each of its extremities an articulated arm (5) fastened at one extremity to a strap of the bracelet and capable of being pressed down on said support for being rendered integral thereof, characterized in that each articulated arm (5) is provided on its external lateral sides with a profile (P1) having a length equal to at least half of the length of the articulated arm (5), said profile (P1) engaging, in the pressed down position of the articulated arm, in a profile (P2) of complementary form and of corresponding length provided in the internal lateral sides of the longidutinal beams (2, 3) the articulated arms (5) comprising elastic means operable to be adjusted for ensuring a snap fitting of the articulated arms (5) on the stiff support (1).

Le fermoir comprend une partie centrale à longerons (2, 3) aux extrémités de laquelle sont montés de manière rotative des dépliants comportant deux lames parallèles (6, 7). Le bord extérieur des lames comporte un profil (P1) et le bord intérieur des longerons un profil de forme complémentaire (P2). Les lames (6, 7) sont fixées à leur extrémité libre à des cylindres (11, 12) porteur de barrettes (14) servant à la fixation d'un brin du bracelet. Les cylindres s'emboîtent l'un dans l'autre et sont écartés l'un de l'autre avec les barrettes par l'action d'un ressort (13) monté à l'intérieur des cylindres, autour des barrettes. Lors de la fermeture du bracelet, les dépliants sont rabattus sur la partie centrale et pressés contre cette dernière de manière que les profils (P1, P2) s'interpénètrent contre l'action du ressort, produisant une fixation à cran des lames avec les longerons. La construction assure une grande sécurité de la fermeture et permet de réaliser un fermoir mince.
