The device for cleaning the contact surfaces of plugs and/or sockets of electrical connectors has the shape of a rod and/or a tube the surfaces of which completely or partially have an abrasion coating it being possible to assemble a plurality of rods and/or tubes into a combined device for different designs. The rods and/or tubes can also have slots in the longitudinal direction or be of a helical type. The device preferably consists of extrudable plastic which provides insulation against electrical voltages. <IMAGE>

Das Gerät zum Reinigen der Kontaktflächen von Stiften und/oder Hülsen elektrischer Steckverbindungen besitzt die Form eines Stabes und/oder Rohres, dessen Oberflächen ganz oder teilweise einen Reibbelag aufweisen, wobei mehrere Stäbe und/oder Rohre zu einem kombinierten Gerät für unterschiedliche Kalibrierungen zusammengefasst sein können. Stäbe und/oder Rohre können auch Schlitze in Längsrichtung oder nach Art einer Wendel aufweisen. Vorzugsweise besteht das Gerät aus spritzfähigem, gegen elektrische Spannungen isolierendem Kunststoff.
