Abstract (en)
In a method of manufacturing a cementitious building product; mixing cement, water and a processing aid are first mixed. The mixture so formed is then subjected to high shear mixing in a twin-roll mill, the rolls of which are rotated at unequal speeds. The mixture is thereby caused to plasticise and then to adhere to only one of the rolls to form a band of material thereon. The band of material is then removed from the said roll, forming into blanks, and cured to form a building product.
