Le procédé et le dispositif pour envelopper des articles de forme essentiellement plate de la branche alimentaire, en particulier des plaques ou des bâtons de chocolat, avec une feuille d'emballage, doivent permettre d'obtenir un emballage tubulaire, en particulier pour y introduire des articles plats comme des plaques ou des bâtons de chocolat (1). Un haut rendement de la machine, sans exigence particulière de la feuille d'emballage (5), et un emploi économique du matériel d'emballage sont atteints grâce au transport de la feuille par une liaison intermittente de la feuille (5) et de l'entraîneur (3).
