[origin: WO8400707A1] Squeeze bottle assembly including a drop forming plug (12) and an overcap (14), as well as the method for assembling the drop forming plug to the bottle. The drop forming plug is formed with a drop forming cone (21) at its upper portion, connected by way of a capillary tube (22) to a drop forming reservoir interior of the neck of the drop forming plug. The drop forming plug is seated within the bottle with a construction eliminating any crevices that the heretofore rounded underportion of drop forming plugs have displayed. The overcap is provided with a purging pin (30) and seal plug (31) which centeringly engage the drop forming cone and capillary tube of the drop forming plug. The method of assembly contemplates positioning the drop forming plug on a plug arbor (40) which orients the same. Thereafter a transfer seat (50) is positioned over the drop forming plug and engages the plug. The transfer seat, while carrying the drop forming plug, is positioned over the bottle. The plug is centered by use of the transfer bead (18) on the neck of the bottle. Thereafter the plug is seated into position snugly pressed into the bottle. Interlocking structure (26, 28) are provided on the lower portion of the drop forming plug to sealingly retain the same within the neck of the bottle.

Dispositif de bouteille à pression comprenant un bouchon de formation de gouttes (12) et un capuchon (14), et procédé de montage du bouchon de formation de gouttes sur la bouteille. Le bouchon de formation de gouttes est formé d'un cône de formation de gouttes (21) sur sa partie supérieure, relié par un tube capillaire (22) à un réservoir de formation de gouttes à l'intérieur du col du bouchon de formation de gouttes. Le bouchon de formation de gouttes est fixé à la bouteille par une construction éliminant les fentes, formées jusqu'ici par la partie inférieure arrondie des bouchons de formation de gouttes. Le capuchon est pourvu d'une pointe de purge (30) et d'un bouchon d'étanchéité (31) qui engagent en les centrant le cône de formation de gouttes et le tube capillaire du bouchon de formation de gouttes. Le procédé de montage prévoit le positionnement du bouchon de formation de gouttes sur un axe de bouchon (40) orientant ce dernier. Ensuite est positionné sur le bouchon de formation de gouttes un siège de transfert (50) qui engage le bouchon. Le siège de transfert, tout en portant le bouchon de formation de gouttes, est positionné sur la bouteille. Le bouchon est ensuite mis en place, bien enfoncé dans la bouteille. Un dispositif de verrouillage (26, 28) est prévu sur la partie inférieure du bouchon de formation de gouttes pour retenir ce dernier de façon étanche dans le col de la bouteille.
