Abstract (en)
1. A folding gate with two gate halves attached to a building, the gate halves (10, 12) having leaves (14, 16 ; 18, 20) of sheet steel attached to each other by hinged joints, characterized in that at the connections to the building, at the hinged joint and at the gate centre arrester chambers are provided, that the chambers are in the form of labyrinth arrangements of steel sections, and that the sections of the labyrinth arrangements on the side towards the gate are welded to the gate leaves.

Bei diesem aus Torsegmenten (14, 16, 18, 20) aufgebauten Falttor sind Vorkehrungen getroffen, daß an den Schwachstellen des Tores, d.h. an den Anschlüssen des Tores mit dem Gebäude (oberer Anschluß, unterer Anschluß, seitliche Anschlüsse), an den Abgliederungen zwischen Torsegmenten und an der Tormitte Geschosse, Geschoßteile und Querschläger wirksam vor dem Eintreten in das Gebäudeinnere gehindert wrden. Dazu sind Fangkammern ausgebildet, welche bei geschlossenem Tor im Zusammenspiel mit gebäude- und torseitigen Elementen ihre Wirkung entfalten. Diese Fangkammern Können in Form von Labyrinthanordnungen ausgebildet sein und aus Stahl, Aluminium und Kunstgummiteilen bestehen, um die Energie eintretender Geschosse und Geschoßteile wirkungsvoll absorbieren zu können.
