1. A hollow plastic profile (2), which is cross-sectionally closed, reinforced by an axially inserted hollow metal profile (3), which is unilaterally open in the form of an axial slot, characterized by, that at least one axial web (18 ; 34, 35) protruding into the chamber and extending at least substantially over the whole length of the profiles (2, 3) is formed at at least one inner wall (7 ; 31, 32) of the hollow plastic profile (2) and that in proximity to an adjacent inner wall (7, 33) the axial web (18 ; 34, 35) is forming a form-locking undergrip (20, 22 ; 21, 23 ; 35, 38 ; 34, 38) for parts (22, 23 ; 39) adjoining to this inner wall (7, 33) of the metal profile (3) adjoining to at least two especially adjacent inner walls (7, 8, 9 ; 31, 32, 33) of the chamber (4) of the hollow plastic profile (2).

Durch ein axial eingeschobenes Metallprofil verstärktes Kunststoffhohlprofil, bei dem eine verbesserte Biegesteifigkeit dadurch erreicht wird, daß das Metallprofil entlang eines in diesem ausgebildeten und sich über seine gesamte axiale Länge erstreckenden Schlitzes auf eben dieser gesamten Länge von einer mit außenflanschartigen Auflagen versehenen federartigen Schiene formschlüssig hintergriffen wird. Diese Art des formschlüssigen Hintergriffs ermöglicht, das Metallprofil im übrigen zum Ausgleich der Fertigungstoleranz des Kunststoffhohlprofils mit Untermaß zu fertigen, so daß bei hoher Biegeversteifung im Rahmen der industriellen Fertigung mit geringen Einschubkräften gearbeitet werden kann.
