1. A curved element of preselected curved length as part of an assembly system in the form of a banister, handrail or the like, which can be made up from tube (21, 34), connecting (35) and/or curved elements (20, 31, 46) which have connecting ends which can be connected together by invisible screwing and which form fine butt joins (29, 36, 37), comprising a tube (1, 32, 47) of curved configuration and a correspondingly curved insert member which extends therethrough and which at its ends has screwthread portions intended for connection to adjacent elements, characterized in that the insert member is made up of an intermediate portion (4, 33, 49, 50) and two end portions (6, 17) which are fixed to the ends of said intermediate portion and which have the screwthread portions (8, 19), and that the tube (1, 32, 47) and the intermediate portion consist of pieces (32, 33) which have been cut to the preselected curved length, from corresponding members (1, 4) of greater curved length.

Bogenelement mit vorgewählter Bogenlänge als Teil eines Montagesystems in Form eines Treppengeländers, Handlaufs od. dgl., das aus Rohr-, Knoten- und/oder Bogenelementen zusammensetzbar ist, die durch unsichtbare Verschraubung miteinander verbindbare, feine Stossfugen bildende Anschlussenden aufweisen, bestehend aus einer Hülse mit bogenförmigem Verlauf und einem diese durchragenden, entsprechend gebogenen Einlegeteil, das aus einem Zwischenstück und zwei an dessen Enden befestigten Endstücken zusammengesetzt ist, die zum Anschluss an Nachbarelemente bestimmte Gewindeteile aufweisen. Die Hülse und das Zwischenstück bestehen aus auf die vorgewählte Bogenlänge abgelängten Teilstücken von entsprechenden Bauteilen mit grösserer Bogenlänge.
