Abstract (en)
The hinged cap essentially consists of a hollow section of a certain length, on one end of which a so-called tip is arranged and on the other end of which a so-called fork is arranged. Hinged caps of this type have the disadvantage that they must be available in different lengths, thus resulting in high stock-keeping costs. In addition, damage to such a hinged cap at one point leads to the failure of the entire hinged cap. To eliminate this shortcoming, it is proposed that the connection of tip and fork to the hollow section be designed as a push-in connection in hinged caps of the type described. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Stahlgelenkkappe für den Untertageausbau im wesentlichen bestehend aus einem Hohlprofil bestimmter Länge, an dessen einem Ende eine sogen. Spitze und an dessen anderem Ende eine sogen. Gabel angeordnet ist. Stahlgelenkkappen dieser Art haben den Nachteil, daß sie in unterschiedlichen Längen vorrätig sein müssen, so daß die Vorratshaltung hohe Kosten verursacht. Außerdem führt eine Beschädigung einer solchen Stahlgelenkkappe an einer Stelle zum Ausfall der gesamten Stahlgelenkkappe. Zur Beseitigung dieses Mangels wird vorgeschlagen, daß bei Stahlgelenkkappen der beschriebenen Art die Verbindung von Spitze und Gabel mit dem Hohlprofil als Steckverbindung ausgebildet ist.
