[origin: WO8403472A1] The compression molding of profiles (15) of bars, profiled elements or the like from small pieces of vegetable materials mixed with a binder was not profitable since the relatively short compression time was confronted to the disproportionately long hardening time. To improve the efficiency, it has been provided to displace the finished profile or the like, compressed between press jaws (3 to 6) along its longitudinal axis to a hardening device. The press jaws (3 to 6) are then set back in place by the press, the hardened profile (15) being ejected after loosening the press jaws (3 to 6). In a rhythmed working process, the work steps may be readily provided one after the other.
