A machine for coiling a cable (10) on a circular are (100), the cable being distributed vertically above the center of said area by a distribution wheel (11) and said area comprising an inner crown (102) and an outer crown (103) delimiting between them a coiling zone, the machine comprising a stand (2) mounted in the center of the inner crown (102) of the tank, a substantially vertical pillar (3) rotatably mounted on the stand (2), and an arm (4) guiding the cable from the leaving of the distribution wheel (11) to a deposit point (8), characterized in that the arm (4) is articulated in two points, a high point connected to a control arm (6) and a low point connected to a rod (5), thus ensuring an adjustment of the radial position of the deposit point (8) for permitting to deposit side by side the successive windings of the cable to be coiled down and to arrange the articulated arm (4) along the pillar (3), the stand (2) being removable from the inner crown (102).

Machine de lovage d'un câble sur une aire circulaire (100), le câble étant distribué à la verticale du centre de cette aire par une roue de distribution (11) et ladite aire comprenant une couronne intérieure (102) et une couronne extérieure (103) délimitant entre elles une zone de lovage, machine comprenant un pilier (3) sensiblement vertical tournant sur un pied (2) placé au centre de la couronne intérieure (102) de la cuve. Cette machine de lovage est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend un bras articulé (4) guidant le câble depuis la sortie de la roue de distribution (11) jusqu'à un point de dépose (8) dont la position radiale est réglable permettant ainsi de ranger l'une à côté de l'autre les spires successives du câble à lover. Cette machine de lovage est principalement utilisée pour le lovage de câbles dans des navires câbliers.
