Abstract (en)
The production of a consistency- and chlorine-stable, free-flowing paste for dishwashing machines entails dissolving 7-55% by weight of alkali metal silicates, based on the total formula a) of the composition Me2O:SiO2 = 1:2 with a water content of 15-50 in portions in a mixture of sodium hypochlorite solution and water and, where appropriate, b) alkali metal metasilicates of the composition Me2O:SiO2:H2O = 1:1:0.5 until an alkalinity of pH greater than 12 is reached. Alkali metal polyphosphates and, where appropriate, finely divided sodium alumosilicate of the NaA zeolite type are stirred into these solutions in portions until the paste is homogeneous at 20 DEG C and has a viscosity of 3-70 Pa.s. Addition of 0.3 to less than 1% by weight of a chlorine-compatible thickening agent to the water which has been introduced has a beneficial effect on the homogeneity and creamy consistency of the paste. Swellable sheet silicates of the montmorillonite type are suitable for this purpose.

Zur Herstellung einer konsistenz- und chlorstabilen, fließfähigen Reinigungspaste für die maschinelle Geschirreinigung löst man 7 - 55 Gew.-% Alkalisilikate, bezogen auf Gesamtrezeptur a) der Zusammensetzung Me2O: SiO2 = 1 : 2 mit einem Wassergehalt von 15 - 50 portionsweise in einem Gemisch aus Natriumhypochloritlösung und Wasser und gegebenenfalls b) Alkalimetasilikate der Zusammensetzung Me2O : SiO2 : H2O = 1 : 1 : 0,5, bis eine Alkalinität von pH größer als 12 erreicht ist. In diese Lösungen werden portionsweise Alkalipolyphosphate sowie gegebenenfalls feinteiliges Natriumalumosilikat vom Typ Zeolith NaA eingerührt, bis die Paste bei 20 °C homogen ist und eine Viskosität von 3 - 70 Pa· s aufweist. Günstig auf Homogenität und cremige Konsistenz der Paste wirkt sich die Zugabe von 0,3 bis kleiner als 1 Gew.-% eines chlorverträglichen Verdickungsmittels in das vorgelegte Wasser aus. Geeignet sind hierfür quellfähige Schichtsilikate vom Montmorillonit-Typ.
