1. A container (1) made of lined carton (2) or the like, particularly for fluid matter, preferably for liquids, the container being composed of an originally strip-like, flat cut-out (8) which is formed into a hollow body U-shaped deformation and formation of a concave saddle surface which belongs to a centre portion (9) and is defined by folded edges and by simultaneously raising and bowing the two side portions (10) to the outside, the side portions (10) opposite one another in each case being welded together or sealed with their edges or flanges (11) and a discharge opening being provided in the saddle surface for pouring out the contents of the container, characterized in that at the container (1) end opposite the discharge opening provision is made for a bottom insert (7) which forms a base (3) and the flanged edge (13) of which is joined to the lower edges of the side portions (10) by adhesion or welding.

Ein Behälter (1) aus kaschiertem Karton weist nur im Bereich seiner Standfläche (3) einen Bodeneinsatz (7) auf, während er im übrigen aus einem einzigen, ursprünglich etwa streifenförmigen flachen Zuschnitt (8) gebildet ist. Der Mittelabschnitt (9) dieses U-förmig gebogenen Zuschnittes (8) ist dabei nach innen gewölbt, während die Seitenabschnitte (10) nach außen zu einem Hohlkörper geformt sind. Sie werden mit ihren einander gegenüberliegenden Rändern oder Flanschen (11) fest und dicht verbunden, und in die untere Bodenöffnung wird der erwähnte Bodeneinsatz (7) eingefügt. Am oberen Abschluß (4) des Behälters (1) kann ein Ausgießer (5) od. dgl. angebracht werden, welcher immer wieder verschlossen werden kann.
