[origin: EP0118859A2] Contact components, i.e. contact pieces arranged on a metallic carrier, are manufactured fully automatically in an economical manner. In this case, the production rate is a decisive factor. According to the invention, such contact components can be manufactured at a very high production rate by the contact pieces being attached only at individual spots to their carrier, which acts as a conveyor belt.
