Abstract (en)
Some of the warp yarns (22) and some of the weft yarns (2) consist of aramid fibres and some of the warp yarns (11) and some of the weft yarns (1) consist of wool. The design of the weave is such that the aramid yarns in warp (22) and weft (2) are all on the underside (3) of the fabric and the wool yarns in warp (11) and weft (1) are all on the topside (4) of the fabric. Owing to these measures, it is now possible to combine the indispensable properties of wool, namely softness, breathability, finishability, etc., with those of the aromatic polyamides, in particular the aramid fibres, namely high thermal resistance, high elasticity, low extensibility, good dimensional stability, etc., in a simple weave to form a protective material which meets a wide range of requirements in various areas. <IMAGE>

Beim verstärkten Textil-Gewebe bestehen hier ein Teil der Kettfäden (22) sowie ein Teil der Schussfäden (2) aus Aramid-Fasern und ein Teil der Kettfäden (11) sowie ein Teil der Schussfäden (1) aus Wolle. Hierbei ist die Bindung so, dass sich die Aramid-Fäden von Kette (22) und Schuss (2) vollständig an der Gewebeunterseite (3) und sich die Wollfäden von Kette (11) und Schuss (1) vollständig an der Gewebeoberseite (4) befinden. Durch diese Massnahmen ist es nunmehr möglich, die unentbehrlichen Eigenschaften der Wolle, nämlich Weichheit, Atmungsaktivität, Ausrüstbarkeit u.a., mit jenen der aromatischen Polyamide, insbesondere der Aramid-Fasern, nämlich hohe thermische Beständigkeit, hohe Elastizität, niedrige Dehnung, gute Formstabilität u.a. auf einfache webtechnische Weise zu vereinen und einen Schutzstoff zu schaffen, der den unterschiedlichen Anforderungen auf breiter Anwendungsbasis genügt.
