1. Lock cylinder comprising a cylinder plug (25, 47) rotatable in a housing (2, 41) and providing the key way, together with tumblers (30, 56) which are arranged in the plug and are operable by the key (34, 58), the tumblers (30, 56) having associated therewith beyond the shear line of the cylinder plug auxiliary chambers (40, 57) which are disposed in a body (36, 43) which is rotated by and together with the cylinder plug (25 or 47), characterized in that the body (36, 43) is mounted for longitudinal displacement in the axial direction of the cylinder plug (25, 47) such that in displaced position one or several auxiliary chambers (40, 57) lie outside a position of alignment with the tumbler (30, 56) associated therewith.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schließzylinder mit in einem Gehäuse (2) drehbarem, den Schlüsselschlitz aufweisendem Zylinderkern (25) und in diesem angeordneten Zuhaltungen (31), die vom Schlüssel (34) einordbar und denen Ausweichräume (40) jenseits der Drehfuge des Zylinderkerns (25) zugeordnet sind, und schlägt zur Erzielung einer herstellungstechnisch einfachen, kleinen und trotzdem eine Vielzahl von Schlüsselabzugsstellungen ermöglichenden Bauform vor, daß die Ausweichräume (40) in einem vom Zylinderkern (25) mitgeschleppten Körper (36) sitzen.
