Une trayeuse mécanique comprend des godets pour trayons, lesquels godets possèdent à l'intérieur des chemises. Selon l'invention, la chambre (7) définie entre le godet (1) et la chemise (3) du godet est conçue pour être, d'une manière intermittente, tantôt à une pression supérieure à la pression atmosphérique et tantôt à un vide plus fort que celui existant dans la chambre (6) à l'intérieur de la chemise (3), la chambre (6) étant prévue pour que règne à l'intérieur un vide sensiblement constant.
