Abstract (en)
The process consists in laying over spacers (1) a concrete bar (2) provided at its centre with a downward bend (3), in stressing said bend (3) with a temporary bar (5) welded horizontally to the concrete bar (2) above the bend (3), in casting the slab (6) and in cutting through the slab (6) and the temporary bar (5), so that the bend (3) assumes the zero position and the concrete dilates at the joint. <IMAGE>

Le procédé consiste à poser sur des écarteurs (1) une barre à béton (2) pourvue en sa partie centrale d'une boucle (3) dirigée vers le bas, à mettre en force ladite boucle (3) par une barre d'attente (5) soudée horizontalement sur la barre à béton (2) au-dessus de la boucle (3), à couler la dalle (6) et à scier la dalle (6) en coupant la barre d'attente (5), de telle manière que la boucle (3) prend la position zéro et le béton se dilate à l'endroit du joint.
