[origin: WO8400277A1] In a method and a reaping device for whole straw reaping the majority of the grains are threshed out immediately before the corn is chopped up into small pieces. According to a preferred embodiment the corn is chopped up by means of a number of knives on a rotating cylinder against a fixed cutter device (27), while the majority of the grains immediately therebefore is threshed out by means of a number of beater shoes (25) on the same cylinder, the corn without cutting being beaten against the fixed cutting device by the beater shoes. The chopped mixed corn is thrown to an accumulator container or other receiver, wherein the beaters or the carrier of the beaters effectively contribute to the throwing function.

Moissonneuse et procédé de moisson de paille complète dans lequel la majorité des grains sont battus immédiatement avant que le blé soit hâché en petits morceaux. Selon un mode préférentiel de réalisation, le blé est hâché au moyen d'un certain nombre de couteaux sur un cylindre rotatif contre un dispositif coupant fixe (27), tandis que la majorité des grains sont battus immédiatement avant au moyen d'un certain nombre de semelles de battage (25) sur le même cylindre, le blé non coupé étant battu contre le dispositif coupant fixe par les semelles de battage. Le grain hâché mélangé tombe dans un récipient accumulateur ou dans un autre récipient, cette action étant facilitée par les batteurs ou par le support des batteurs.
