The invention relates to a ridge covering (A) having a middle part (5) lying in the ridge line (x-x), and two side parts (6) overlapping the latter and extending in the region of the upper boundary edge of the pantiles (4), and proposes, in order to obtain an arrangement which is favourable in terms of assignment and ventilation, and protected against driving rain, that the U-shaped middle part (5), which can be fastened by its U-web (9) to the roof ridge (2) and is equipped with ventilation openings (11), overlaps, with its downwardly directed U-legs (8), upwardly directed webs (13) of the angular side parts (6), at a distance from which the web (14) extending in the direction of the roof panes possesses cap-shaped forms (15) for engaging over the pantiles (4), which possess, in the region of the cap vertex, supporting edges (19) for ridge pantiles (7) covering the middle part (5). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Dachfirstabdeckung (A) mit einem in der Firstlinie (x-x) liegenden Mittelteil (5) und zwei dazu in Überlappung liegenden, im Bereich der oberen Randkante der Dachpfannen (4) verlaufenden Seitenteilen (6) und schlägt zur Erzielung einer zuordnungs- sowie belüftungsgünstigen, schlagregengeschützten Ausgestaltung vor, daß das U-förmig gestaltete, mit seinem U-Steg (9) auf dem Dachfirst (2) befestigbare und mit Belüftungsöffnungen (11) ausgestattete Mittelteil (5) mit seinen abwärts gerichteten U-Schenkeln (8) aufwärts gerichtete Stege (13) der winkelförmigen Seitenteile (6) übergreift, im Abstand zu welchen der in Richtung der Dachschrägen verlaufende Steg (14) kappenförmige Ausformungen (15) zum Übergriff über die Dachpfannen (4) bestitzt, welche im Kappenscheitelbereich Auflagekanten (19) für das Mittelteil (5) überfangende Firstpfannen (7) besitzen.
